Union Cabinet takes major decisions | | | New Delhi Union Cabinet approves expansion of Metro rail network from Noida City Centre to Noida Sector 62; approves setting up of a new AIIMS in Deoghar, Jharkhand and a Central University in Ananthpur District of Andhra Pradesh; CCEA also approves Rs 11,330 Crore for network spectrum for the defence forces.
Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime MInister Narendar Modi on Wednesday approved setting up Freight Village at Nangal Chaudhary in Haryana under High capacity Delhi-Mumbai corridor project for faster delivery of goods at the busy line.
Union Cabinet also approves setting up of a new AIIMS in Deoghar in Jharkhand. The new hospital in Deoghar will consist of 750 beds, a medical college with an in-take of 100 MBBS students per year and a nursing college with an in-take of 60 B.Sc nursuing students per year.
Union Cabinet also approved expansion of Metro line from Noida City centre to Sector 62 in Noida in Uttar Pradesh.
Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs also approved Corpus for Micro Irrigation Fund with NABARD under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY). | | | |
