| J&K: Army spokesman in clarification says, reports of attack on Army convoy unfounded, baseless | | | | Srinagar June 17:-
The Srinagar based Army spokesman Lt Col Rajesh Kalia in a clarification said that the reports of attack on Army convoy are “unfounded and baseless”.
He said that a failed attempt was made by terrorists to attack a mobile vehicle patrol of 44 Rashtryia Rifles (RR) regiment with a Vehicle Based IED while the Army patrol was moving in the general area Arihal in district Pulwama today evening.
He said that troops all safe and only few minor injuries are there. The Spokesman added the area was cordoned off and search operations is in progress adding that the damage was minimised due to the ness of the patrol party. | | | | |
