| World leaders congratulate PM Modi on historic victory in general elections | | | | Maldives +Israel May 23(agencies)
President of Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his historic victory in general elections. In a tweet, Mr Solih said, it is a strong affirmation of the Indian people's confidence in the BJP-led government. Mr. Solih said, he looks forward to closer and enhanced ties of Maldives-India cooperation.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, the results further reaffirm Mr Modi's leadership of the world's largest democracy. He said, together India and Israel will continue to strengthen the great friendship.
Nepalese Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli wished all success ahead to Mr. Narendra Modi and said, he looks forward to working closely with him. | | | | |
