The annual holy Jayanti of Sri Goddess Mata Baglamukhi or Bagala is one of the tenDevimahavidyas (great wisdom/science) in HinduismDevi Bagalamukhi Devi is going to be making merry and rejoice as conventionally on Monday the 23rd of April 2018 at Paloura, Akhnoor Road, near the main gate of BSF School in Jammu City. It is pertinent to mention here that Maa Bagalamukhi is commonly known as Pitambari Maa or Brahmastra Roopini has been called her with 108 different names
While has furnished the details to press the Sewadar of the place of worship Sh. Sham Lal verma has said Maa Baglamukhi Jayanti is celebrated on Vaishakh Shukla Ashtami according to the Hindu calendar and an elaborate arrangements have been already put into practice for the day long celebrations this year too .
Shared his experiences of his past he disclosed and said that like other past couple of years more and more in integer figure of devotees is expected to be arrive for participations in YAJNA that will start as per schedule around from 9.00 am and afterward would conclude on the same day at an about 12.00 noon in the said temple premises.
Hundreds of devotees are arriving every year to celebrate the annual Mata Baglamukhi festival - the festival symbolizing religious harmony is seen as an occasion to revive the strong faith of the people .verma said” He appeals all devotees as well as all walks of life people to arrive in large number to tepid extent upbringing for seeking the blessing of Mata Baglamukhi and get and obtain the Prashad after the puran Aahuti during Bhandara.
It is pertinent to mention here that Hawan and ‘Purna Ahuti’, the community kitchen (Bhandara) will be start from 1 pm to 4 pm at Shiva Bagla Pitambara Hall at Poonch Lane in Muthi-Udhaywala link road, few meters away from the temple premises.
