Jan cautions people against anti-social forces
‘Rassana case a gruesome criminal act’

Poonch, Apr 19 (Agencies): Provincial President Youth National Conference, Ajaz Jan today cautioned people to remain vigilant against forces dividing society on communal lines over ‘Rassana Rape and Murder case’ and said these are attempts to derail the judicial process and deny justice to the victim.
In his interaction with the people during his tour in Mandi block, Ajaz Jan said that Rassana case is a gruesome criminal act and without bringing religion into it the guilty should be awarded severest punishment as per law.
He also added that from series of events, one can easily assume that some forces are hell bent to disturb peaceful atmosphere in Jammu areas. He said the coalition government is playing a vicious role in polarizing the state, which will be resisted by maintaining time tested unity.
While referring to repeated demands being raised by Ex Forest Minister, Lal Singh, Ajaz Jan said these are serious in nature and reflective of the fact that all is not well within the coalition. He said silence of Mehbooba Mufti over the allegations against her by Lal Singh is intriguing.
He said open confrontation between the coalition partners is against the interests of the people who are already suffering due to mis-governance.
