She was raised by parents to aim high and believe in her capabilities. She completed her graduation in engineering and secured a job as an assistant manager at NTPC. She rejected 16 government job offers, which also included one from ISRO, to pursue her dream of cracking the UPSC exam and becoming an Indian Police Service (IPS).
