Political arena forms unrest and discord among the people Written by Ashok Raina

As you know, even in the world of democracy, the circumstances are changing like the weather and flowing above the danger signs, so much so that the field of politics is turning into an arena day by day.
In the pursuit of Kaun Banega Crorepati, people are being crushed like flour in the mill and you will never be able to imagine or imagine what the world of politics is like, even in your dreams.
The point is that entering the field of politics and then living a comfortable life is not easy and this is possible only when you make false promises to the people, mislead people by making false election promises and after getting votes, violate the oath and oath ceremony taken in Parliament or any assembly, create a ruckus and raise a hue and cry. Although all these cases come under the Public Safety Act, despite all this happening in front of our eyes, till date, no MP or MLA has been arrested.
The basic criteria for disqualification for an MP under Articles 102 and 191 are mentioned in Article 102 of the Constitution is explained vividly but why not such laws are not being found applicable for all the times far made to disqualification of any representative under the Public Safety Act. I also learned that a political arena can be set up in India but no action can be taken against those who violate the law.
Unfortunately, for personal gain or vested interest in politics people are being divided on the basis of religions, languages, regions, false propaganda, different misleading statements during addresses to public meetings which is absolutely against the Public Safety Act.
However, the law has fully explained that under Section 8 of the RPA deals with disqualification for conviction of offences and Section 8(1) of the act includes specific offences such as promoting enmity between two groups, bribery, and undue influence or personation at an election.
There are equal rules and equal law for all and for everyone when the law is violated, but there is a need to ponder over why the law makers go so far away from this knowledge and are abducting the laws?
These thoughts definitely never remains far away from the people's mind and even raises many questions over this subject of view also that Can an MLA or MP be arrested for making false promises during election process and preparing false election manifestos with only for this purpose to win .That after the election the betrayal act with the people of India under the part of democracy and strengthen the nation is always being weakened despite the theory of constitutional provisions available within us under the purview of Articles 102 & 191. The basic disqualification criteria for an MP are outlined in Article 102 of the Constitution, while those for an MLA are outlined in Article 191. Article 102 empowers the Parliament to enact legislation governing the conditions of disqualification. But where is the right principle in sacrificing the law for the sake of gaining a foothold in the political arena and by creating confusion of ideas and promoting differences of opinion? As we realize it within ourselves by easily under stable ways that due to Political arena in India people are crushed in the grill.
Whether we talk of Doda MLA Mehraj Malik who has been detained under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) or Parliamentarian and Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi who was held guilty and sentenced to two years in jail by a court in Surat, Gujarat in a 2019 defamation case over his remarks about the “Modi surname”.
What I mean to say is that if the scope of our law is so wide and comprehensive, then why is no action taken against the public representatives who mislead and fool the public by making false promises and manifestos before elections? Is all this being done to create a political arena to remain in power in any way or is it being done to create unrest and discord among the people?
