| My tragic journey to DIPR Jammu and Kashmir Written by Ashok Raina | | | | Perhaps you too, like me, will be stunned after knowing about the Jammu and Kashmir Information Department that what kind of secret is hidden inside the walls of the big monumental white building that demoralizes everyone, especially burying journalism alive is not only a common thing, but the live death of journalists is being carried out in a mysterious manner.
As soon as you enter this building, you will get the opportunity to smell the stench of journalists buried alive and you get to see nightmares here in broad daylight and till date, what has happened to the well-known journalists in this department is a big historical story .
Yes, everyone finds the truth bitter because the truth is hidden in it and there is no doubt about it and it is not difficult for us to say it because the journalist who is the symbol of truth should have faith in his journalism and at the same time he should also be fearless.
It is sad to say that the amount of hooliganism that is going on in the Information Department and Public Relations of Jammu and Kashmir even today is probably not seen anywhere else.
You know it was the government's job to find out the details of the properties built by all the government employees who were handling the work in this department and to search for them, but why do governments seem helpless till date due to hooliganism? And the questions are being raised on the intentions of the successive government’s failure.
I still vividly remember that sad day of mine when I went on my first journey of life to the department of information and public relations Jammu and Kashmir after completing a journalism course. In those days there was a vengeance inside me and a lot of enthusiasm and many beautiful dreams were visible in my enthusiastic eyes.
But I had no idea what kind of drama was going on with the journalists inside the four walls of this department and what kind of dice were being used in the games being played every day against them.
And which journalist is to be brought forward and which one is to be pushed back, was known only to the corrupt officials posted in the said government office and with the advent of the year 2014, the hooliganism was filled with new colors, fuel and energy and that is, all the corners within the four walls of the department were completely covered.
Then, flood like conditions of today had arisen in those days, the officers started doing as they pleased, water could be seen flowing above the head, that is, even after wearing glasses, it was dark and Gyan Sanchar Vigyan Bhawan was covered by dark clouds, which clearly means that despite having eyes, I was not able to see anything, and neither did I have the understanding to deal with such arising situations that was being forced upon us. Ultimately, every trick was used to make me quit my profession, to the point where it even came to taking my life.
In such a situation, it was a very difficult and complicated task to find out the solution to the suddenly created situation, while the atmosphere of the A confused ruler, a chaotic state was getting more active. It is also learnable fact that even often the idiots never understands the idioms and phrases in the long run as like “ Andher Nagari Chaupat Raja Take Ser Bhaji Taka Ser Khaja
You must be surprised about what kind of equipment was used on the ground level in the field of journalism in Jammu and Kashmir due to which literature, civilization and culture were ultimately kidnapped in the history of Jammu and Kashmir.
Here in Jammu and Kashmir, we are used to having different rules and laws and in this, the style of the Information Department of Jammu and Kashmir is also very unique. Freedom of the press is not recognized here. If we ask the officials of Jammu and Kashmir what is the meaning of the word press, then they will surely fall short of answering. Secondly in this era of corruption, perhaps even those who knows the meaning of Press would not be willing to stand up for freedom of the press due to which, the era of cowardice, ignorance, and arrogance continues in Jammu and Kashmir directorate of information department and public relations even in the 21st century, and tragedy full of magic is being carried out by creating mysterious situations.
Yes, after completing my studies in Mass Communication and Journalism, I too became a victim of the tragic journey of the Information Department Jammu and Kashmir.
