| Rahul Gandhi To Launch Voting Rights Yatra From Sasaram | | | |  NEW DELHI AUGUST 16:-
Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is set to launch the “Vote Rights Yatra” tomorrow from Sasaram, Bihar.
The yatra, which will continue for the next 16 days, will pass through 25 districts of the state.
Former Pradesh Congress Committee President Akhilesh Prasad Singh, addressing a press conference in Patna today, said that the yatra will cover a distance of about 1,300 kilometres.
He said leaders of the INDIA alliance, including Rashtriya Janata Dal, leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, will also take part in it.
Mr. Singh stated that during this march, the alleged irregularities in the special intensive revision of the electoral roll will be highlighted. | | | | |
