Wattal expresses deep sorrow over tragic cloudburst in Kishtwar
Extends condolences to bereaved families, prays for early recovery of injured

Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society President, Kiran Wattal, has expressed deep sorrow and condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the cloud burst incident in Kishtwar. The incident has resulted in significant loss of life and property, causing immense grief to the affected families.

In a condolence message, Wattal said that the cloud burst incident in Kishtwar has resulted in the loss of precious lives and properties, leaving many families bereaved. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the incident. He demanded that the administration ensure the best treatment for the injured and provide suitable compensation to those affected.

Wattal with a heavy heart expressed his deepest condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in the recent cloud burst incident in Kishtwar. This tragic event has caused immense loss of life and property, leaving many families in distress.My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, and I wish a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident. I urge the administration to provide the best possible treatment to the injured and ensure that they receive suitable compensation for their losses.

Wattal said that he is in pain since he heard the news that a massive cloud burst hit the Paddar area in Kishtwar district, resulting in at least 28 deaths and several injuries. The incident occurred in Chositi, the last motorable village enroute to the Machail Mata shrine. Rescue operations are underway, with the administration and security forces working tirelessly to provide assistance to the affected. Civil, Police, Army, NDRF and SDRF officials are on the job to strengthen rescue and relief operations and ensure all possible assistance is provided to the affected.
