| Harasis Appointed as Spokesperson for J & K Oil Tanker Drivers Union | | | |  Jammu, 25/June/2025: Sardar Ranjit Singh Raina, President of the All J & K Oil and LPG Tank Truck Drivers and Cleaners Union, has re-appointed S. Harasis Singh, son of Sh. Darshan Singh, as his official Spokesperson.
Union President S. Ranjit Singh Raina took this warm decision after Harasis’s earlier term came to an end. Harasis is a prominent social activist and remain vocal in raising issues concerning the vulnerable section of the society including workers, farmers, drivers and other people from unorganized sector.
As Spokesperson, Harasis Singh will represent the Union President and share the Union’s views with the media and public. He will issue press statements, attend media events, and maintain communication with government officials, journalists, and other unions. He will also handle social media work and take part in public awareness efforts for the Union.
Union members congratulated Harasis Singh and wished him success in his responsibilities. His role as Spokesperson will continue until further notice or his resignation. It is important to mention that Union elections are due and may be held anytime.
