| PM Modi inaugurates Mundka-Bahadurgarh Metro corridor | | | |  New Delhi 24June(Agencies)
PM said that government want to boost 'Make In India' by making coaches of the Metro in India itself.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Mundka-Bahadurgarh Metro corridor with a push of button via video conference. With this line, Bahadurgarh has become third Haryana city to have DMRC services. Metro lines were already operational in Gurgaon (Yellow Line) and Faridabad (Violet Line).
Union Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Puri and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar attended the function in Bahadurgarh.
Speaking after the inauguration PM Modi said that The Metro system is a prime example of our international relations and corporative federalism and it is being developed in 12 states with a cooperation between Centre and state governments.

PM said that the relation between connectivity and development is evident from the Metro network and further added that The pace at which metro network is spreading across the Delhi-NCR, soon the Delhi Metro would be known as fifth most advanced system after Shanghai, Beijing, New York and London.
The Mundka - Bahadurgarh stretch, with seven stations, is an extension of the existing Green Line from Inderlok to Mundka.
This section now is metro's third line of connectivity to the neighbouring state of Haryana. Metro services are already operational in Gurgaon and Faridabad.
The services on the new corridor will begin from 4 PM for the public.
After the opening of this corridor, the entire Inderlok-Bahadurgarh section will become 26.33 km long.
With the opening of this section, the Delhi Metro network will expand to 288 km with 208 stations. | | | | |
