| Social activist shot dead by suspected terrorists in Kupwara | | | | Srinagar, Apr 27: A 45-year-old social activist was shot at by suspected terrorists in Kupwara district, officials said on Sunday.
The terrorists opened fire at Ghulam Rasool Magray inside his residence at Kandi Khas late Saturday night, they said.
Magray was initially rushed to a local hospital.
However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was referred to a hospital in Srinagar, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.Officials said the motive behind the attack was not immediately clear.
