2 absconders apprehended in Handwara after 25 years
 
Kupwara, Apr 25: Two persons who were absconding for the last twenty five years were apprehended by Police, an official said on Wednesday.

He said that a warrant under section 512 CRPC was issued by Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Handwara pending with police station Handwara against two accused persons namely Jahangir Ahmad Shah, resident of Hamlapati Rajpora involved in a case vide FIR number 197/1999 under section 354,452,456, RPC of PS Handwara and Mohammad Kamal Mir son of Habibullah Mir resident of Nichama Zachaldara involved in case FIR no 67/1996 u/s 04 explosive substance act of Police Station Handwara.
“Both have been evading their arrest for the last 25 years and were apprehended by a Police team led by IC PP Zachaldara under the supervision of SDPO Handwara. The duo were produced before the Court of Law,” he added.
