Omar takes dig at Dy CM, accuses BJP of playing politics over Kathua rape and murder

Srinagar(agency) 20 April
Taking a jibe at the Jammu and Kashmir deputy chief minister Nirmal Singh, opposition National Conference working president Omar Abdullah on Friday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of “playing politics” over Kathua minor rape and murder.
Reacting to Singh’s statement that actual culprits should be found and pronounced guilty in Kathua rape case, Omar said the deputy CM has marked “lack of confidence” on state police and judiciary overseeing the investigations into the case.
Commenting on micro blogging website Twitter, Omar wrote: “The Deputy CM has just pronounced his complete LACK of confidence in the @JmuKmrPolice & the J&K High Court which is overseeing the Kathua probe. This is how they play politics & incite trouble”.
