| Photojournalist among several injured in clashes in Bijbehara | | | | Srinagar 16 January
Several persons, including a photojournalist, were injured after government forces resorted to aerial firing and teargas shelling to disperse protesters in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.
Earlier, thousands of people took part in the funeral prayers of the three militants killed in an overnight encounter with forces in Awoora village of Pahalgam.
Reports said that a photojournalist Bilal Bahadur was also injured after forces burst teargas shells to disperse the protesters. | | | | |
