| NIA court extends judicial remand of Asiya Andrabi, aides | | | |  Srinagar 15 November
The judicial remand of Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson Asiya Andrabi, its secretary general Nahida Nasreen and Press Secretary Fahmeeda Sofi has been extended upto December 4 2018.
The remand was extended by Additional District & Session Judge, NIA special court, New Delhi.
However, the court didn’t take the cognizance of the charge sheet filed by NIA yesterday on the pretext of not having sufficient time to read the same. The proceedings were held through Video Conference.
Earlier in the day, the District & Session Judge, NIA special court, New Delhi transferred the case of Asiya Andrabi and her two associates to another newly designated NIA special Court of Rakesh Sayal, Additional District & Session Judge, Patiala House, New Delhi.
Asiya Andrabi along with two associates have been charge sheeted by NIA under sections 120B, 121, 121A, 124A, 153A, 153B & 505 of the IPC & Sections 13, 17, 18, 38 & 39 of UAPA. | | | | |
