4.6-magnitude earthquake jolts J&K
 
Srinagar, Oct 07 (Agencies): An earthquake Sunday jolted Jammu and Kashmir, although there were no reports of casualties or damage to properties.
The quake, measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale, had a depth of 206 km
Reports quoting an official of the state disaster management department said that the tremor occurred at 8.09 a.m.
“Its coordinates are latitude 36.7 north and longitude 74.5 east.
