| Reasi, Jammu girls emerge winner in divisional level tournament | | | | UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 12: Divisional Level Inter District tournament for Girls in all age groups in the discipline Basketball held here at Army Public School Ground.
About 86 Girls from different districts of Jammu division took part in the tournament. The tournament was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the patronage of Director General Youth Services & Sports J&K and under the Supervision of District Youth Services & Sports officer Udhampur Sudesh Kumar Chalotra.
Ashok Kumar Director SMVDU Katra was the chief guest while Reena Sharma Vice Principal Army Public School Udhampur was the guest of honour on the occasion.
In U/19 and U/17 yrs event Reasi remained winner defeated Samba by 8-0 and 14-0 respectively while in U/14YRS category Jammu emerged as winner defeated Udhampur by 17-08.
All the matches were officiated by Ajay Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma, Manik Nargotra, Ranveer singh, Pooja Devi and Meenu.
Among others, who present on the occasion were Pawan Kumar Sharma ZPEO, Subash Chander, Manjeet Singh, Gumeet Singh (HOD) Sports APS, Jaswinder Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Deepika Manhas and other representatives from various institutions. | | | | |
