| Handicrafts exhibition-cum-sale concludes | | | | JAMMU, JANUARY 11 –The exhibition-cum-sale organized by the department of Handicrafts at Kala Kendra concluded here today.
Director Handicrafts, Mushtaq Ahmad Sham, who was the chief guest on the occasion, exhorted upon the artisans and craftsman to avail benefits of the schemes being implemented by the department. He asked the officers to work with zeal and dedication to ensure that the stakeholders especially the youth are made aware about the welfare programmes of the department. He also emphasized on skill development so that the potential in handicraft sector is optimally utilized.
During the exhibition, twenty five stalls were established wherein various handicrafts products were displayed for sale by the Handicraft Cooperative Societies, artisans and craftsman belonging to various parts of State. | | | | |
