FIFA World Cup: Sweden beat South Korea by 1-0 in group F clash

In the FIFA World Cup, Sweden beat South Korea 1-0 in a group F clash at Nizhny Novgorod stadium today. Sweden's Andreas Granquist converted a penalty into a goal in the 65 minute of the game.

The other group G match is now underway between Belgium and World Cup debutantes at Fisht Stadium in Sochi.

In the third encounter, England will open their world cup campaign against Tunisia in the historic city of Volgograd at 11.30 PM tonight.

England, winners on football's biggest stage more than half a century ago haven't won a knock-out match in any tournament since 2006.

Tomorrow, first encounter will take place between Columbia and Japan at 5.30 PM. In another match Poland will clash with Senegal at 8.30 PM and Russia will take on Egypt at 11.30 PM
