Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s health condition stable
 
New Delhi 12 June(agencies)
The condition of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was admitted to AIIMS for Health check up yesterday, is stable. He is responding to treatment and is on injectable antibiotics.

According to the statements issued today by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences ( AIIMS) bulletin, Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s all vital parameters are stable and he will continue to be in hospital till infection is controlled.

He has been diagnosed with a urinary tract infection.

The BJP stalwart ruled India as prime minister between 1998-2004.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, BJP President Amit Shah , Union Health Minister JP Nadda and other BJP leaders visited AIIMS to enquire about Vajpayee's health.
