| Missing Hajin youth joins militant ranks, gun-wielding picture surfaces on social media | | | |  Srinagar 25 May 2018(Agencies)
A youth who went missing a few days ago from his home in Hajin area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district has reportedly joined Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit.
A picture of Nisar Ahmad Dar of Wahab Parray Mohalla in which he could be seen carrying an AK-47 rifle went viral on social networking websites last evening.
Dar had gone missing few days ago following which his parents filed a report with Hajin police station.
Reports said Dar was detained and booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) last year and was released only few months back.
A friend wishing anonymity alleged that Dar was forced to pick up the gun as he was “fabricated” in many false cases and was “harassed” by the police.
