J&K2 Route Permit Suspended, MVD Anantnag launched crackdown on violators
 
Anantnag , March 16 : Motor Vehicle Department Anantnag today launched an extensive enforcement drive in Anantnag town and other peripheral routes covering Sarnal, Mattan, Seer, Hapatnarh ,Aishmuqam etc o wherein more than 300 vehicles were checked during the day. An revenue of Rs 1.5 lakh is expected from the violators who were blacklisted by the MVD officials.


Following the reports of overloading and traffic norms violation, ARTO Anantnag Dr Mohammad Zubair Lattoo (JKAS) speaking with the media persons said he has constituted dedicated Enforcement teams to keep rigorous checking on all the Major routes of the district phase wise.
It was given that many Schools have been found violating the norms by using Mini Buses for carrying students. Route Permits of two buses JK03 1102 and JK03A 5434 have been recommended for suspension and notices for the same will be dispatched to the registered owner of vehicles.

Meanwhile, the inspection team informed the people about their duties towards observing traffic norms and road safety rules while travelling
